Embroidered Necklaces - LGBTQ+ - Asexual & Pansexual Flags

$40.00

This project of embroidering bouquets of as many LGBTQ+ flags is one that will be on-going and is in celebration of various sexual and gender identities. Whenever pride and coming-out days come along, I realized that I wished for one myself: something to put on that could be my personal celebration of my identity that would be casual, subtle, and blend in with my outfits in a way that normalized how I feel and how I choose to identify myself. When I realized that I didn’t have anything like that, I came up with this project because I realized that I didn’t often see things like this for others!

I am creating each flag as a row of embroidered flowers and also as a small bouquet. If you do not see the flag that you would like to see most here, please feel free to reach out to me here, or on my various social media accounts. This set is hand-embroidered onto black 100% silk, stitched around a small disk of balsa wood (that I cut myself using an x-acto knife), and then attached to the frame with a strong craft glue.

Dimensions & details:

The silver chain on pendants 1 & 3 are nickel-free.

All of these pendant frames are 1” x 1”

Chain length:

  1. 22”

  2. 24”

  3. 18”

  4. 24”
