Baby Doll Arm Necklace Holder

$48.00

Creative Reuse Item

Children’s toys often get sent to the landfill, as gifts abound and interests wane. Baby dolls are no different and the amount of them that find themselves naked, covered in sharpie, with bits chewed up is not few. I started collecting the baby dolls I found when I realized that most of these will be thrown away—no one is likely to buy their child that kind of doll.

However, I also don’t have much of a need for baby dolls in my house. It was time to come up with other ways these dolls could be repurposed. I sawed the arms off of three and really liked the way they lined up on this board (which is approximately 13” x 7” x 4”). When I saw them set up this way, I thought they would make a perfect necklace holder!

Not only can the necklaces be held by a pair of hands but each arm can hold necklaces. They could even be mixed up, with the smaller arms holding bracelets and larger ones holding necklaces—whichever: you can do whatever floats your boat!
